  2. We’ll assess your submission and advise you on the best route — auction or direct sale.
  3. Once approved, we handle everything: photography, cataloguing, global marketing, and selling.

No seller fees in most cases. Fast payouts. Maximum exposure.

3. Are there any fees for sellers?

In most cases, no – we charge zero seller fees, so you receive the full hammer price.

For standout items, we may even offer a commission structure at our discretion.

4. What kind of items do you accept?

We accept:

  • Medals, tokens, and medallions

  • Any other numismatic items

6. Do you offer printed catalogues?

Yes — but only for one special auction per year.

We handle all catalogue design and photography in-house, ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail. Printing is managed by our trusted external partners to produce a premium, professionally finished publication.

For all other auctions, high-quality digital catalogues are available across our website and partner platforms.

7. How long after the auction will I get paid?

We officially state payment within one month, but in most cases, we aim to pay consignors within two weeks.

💳 Buyer payment is key — once we’ve received cleared funds from the buyer, we’ll pay you promptly. We never hold onto your money unnecessarily. Our goal is to settle with you as quickly and transparently as possible.

8. Where is Rumnicoin based?

We’re proudly based in North Wales, UK, but operate on a global scale.

🌍 Despite our rural base, we have an extensive international network of buyers, sellers, and partners — with particularly strong ties in the USA, Europe, and Asia.

🤝 Our auction partners are Swiss-based, and we’ve known them for years through our founder’s previous role directing an auction house in Switzerland. These long-standing relationships ensure your items benefit from exceptional reach, trust, and professionalism across the global numismatic market.

10. What is your shipping policy?

We ship worldwide using tracked and insured services.

📦 Our preferred courier is DHL, known for reliability and global coverage. All items shipped via DHL are fully insured by us during transit.

✉️ If you prefer a different courier, we can arrange it — however, please note that shipments via non-DHL couriers are not insured by Rumnicoin and are sent entirely at your own risk and liability.

11. What is your returns and refund policy?

We offer a 14-day return policy in line with your statutory rights. To be eligible, items must be:

  • Returned within 14 days of receipt

  • In original condition and packaging

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

🕒 Any issues should be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

📦 Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense and must be done using a secure method. Once we receive and inspect the item, an appropriate refund will be issued. We reserve the right to reduce refunds if items are returned in a diminished condition.

Yes! While we’re an online-first business, we regularly attend UK trade shows in cities like York, London, Birmingham, Huddersfield, Harrogate, Crewe, and more.
