China. Kowloon Railway BR Badge. (Copy). Circa 1881 (original). Steam train with chinese characters above and below, K R C on tank of the engine, with belt / Blank. A modern souvenir of the Kaiping Railway, Chinas' firast railway company in 1881. British engineer in chief "Clauds William Kinder" C.M.G. and Manarin of the Red Button of China. The Locomotive was built by Robert Louis Stevenson & Co. in Newcastle and is now preserved in the transport museum at Beijing.
An interesting item of Chinese interest.
