Elephant to right wearing drapes of the King, carrying soldiers, rider and a banner over ground / bust of King right centre, sun rays above with hebrew text in oval, three seated lions around king within wreath. G.200. Order of The Elephant, Throw piece by Gotfred Krüger for the annointing of the king on June 1st 1671. Diamond Planchet. MEM: 11.820. 14.50g, 37mm x 37mm. 12h.
Extremely Fine for type. Rare. Gunmetal Patina, possible old smoothing to fields. A wonderful piece with a fantastic depiction of an elephant carrying royalty. Old collectors ticket included.
