Extremely Fine. A wonderful piece of colonial history, and very rare. An example in lesser grade sold for £650 + BP in 2022 (Noonan's- 27/07/22- Special Collections Sale). This example is superior and is the 2nd portrait type with a longer bust,Issued as a civil award to local Native Chiefs for interactive services with British soldiers and settlers.
