Ceylon, Kingdom of Polonnaruwa. Sahara Malla CU 1 Massa. 1200-1202AD. Crowned Lankan king wearing dhoti, standing on lotus stalk, holding jasmine flower to right, hanging lamp to left. Five pellets to right. Rim of 36 beads / Seated king holding a conch shell, surrounded by beaded rim. Nagari legend. Mitch: WI#840-841. 3.50g, 19.70mm, 6h.Good Very Fine, nice for type.
