Lot 175

⚜️ Lot 175 – “Three Graces” £10 Proof | Only 175 Minted

May 17, 2025

Estimate: £950–£1,200 GBP
🇬🇧 Great Britain. Royal Mint. 2020.

💎 One of the most sought-after modern British issues — the “Three Graces” £10 Proof, part of the Royal Mint’s Great Engravers Series — reimagines William Wyon’s 1817 neoclassical masterpiece with striking elegance.

🕊️ Symbolising England, Scotland, and Ireland in harmonious unity beneath the Latin motto FOEDUS INVIOLABILE (“unbreakable treaty”), the reverse pays tribute to Wyon’s iconic design, while the obverse features a frosted bust of Queen Elizabeth II, sculpted by Jody Clark.

🔥 Struck in an impressive 312.59g of .999 fine silver, this coin sold out within hours of release in 2020 and quickly became a sensation on the secondary market — with early examples achieving over £10,000 at auction.

🥇 Graded NGC PF 69 Ultra Cameo, and housed in an oversized holder, this is an elite-level modern proof with significant long-term desirability. No COA, but its rarity speaks volumes: only 175 pieces minted.

🗓️ Available now for pre-bidding as part of Rumnicoin Auction 2 – live 12 June 2025, 12:00 GMT.
