Rare Key Date, Graded AU 58 π¨π±
This striking silver Peso of 1862, minted in Santiago (So), bears the national motto βPor la RazΓ³n o la Fuerzaβ β βBy Reason or by Force.β The obverse features a fierce condor with shield, while the reverse shows the plumed arms within a wreath, crowned with the iconic five-point star of Chilean heraldry. π¦
Weighing 26g and spanning 37mm, this piece is a robust example of 19th-century Latin American coinage.
